Marina Weiler is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences in the UVA Division of Perceptual Studies.That’s one way to say that she scientifically studies out-of-body experiences (or OBEs). This research is deeply confronting to a purely materialist view of the world, and it helps us understand better how consciousness works.Anyone who has circled for an extended period of time has likely induced an OBE (or something like it) in the practice.
