I bought into it after watching the film The End Of Suburbia and realizing that global oil production would eventually reach a top and start to drop and that our modern way of life based on economic growth would be over. The reason I was freaked out about it was because I was in Yugoslavia in 1996 when they lost 50% of the oil running through their economy. I was also in Cuba in the early 90s after that country was cut off from Soviet Oil. The only other place in the world that's seen a drop in oil consumption was North Korea where they lost 85% and people starved. So you're wondering what does this has to do with the battle of the sexes. My thinking is that the powers that don't want you to be need to reduce the human population as quickly as possible and crash the population globally and want to do it in a peaceful way. The best way to do that is to turn men and women against each other so there's a crash in family formation and precipitice fall in birth rates and population so that there aren't all that many energy wars once the energy starts to run out. For the longest time I stopped paying attention to peak oil because on the surface if you look at the numbers the amount of oil we pull out of the ground keeps expanding. Or does it? Someone recently put a link to a video called: "Peak Oil - The Hedonic Adjustment" which I've linked to below. In it Arthur Berman shows us Energy Information Agency information showing us that conventional oil production most likely peaked in 2018 and that natural gas liquids, ethenol and other less energy dense alternatives. So saying that we are producing 100 million barrels a day is a hedonic adjustment. It's like saying there is no inflation because people can eat chicken instead of steak. That's pretty much how the US Government makes inflation look a lot lower than it realy is. So let's assume that oil production will keep dropping and our standard of life is going to fall. The only way to make sure people don't panic is to lower the population into line with consumption. So creating a war between the sexes is perfect. The so called elites can get the population down to 300 million or whatever their target is without firing a single shot. Afterall Sun Tzu always says the best warrior is the one that doesn't have to wage a single battle and still be victorious. When I discovered going your own way I thought that it offered us the best chance at creating a mostly male society using sexbots, surrogacy and artificial wombs because it would mean we could drop our energy consumption by the needed 85% to keep the industrial world running. Now I think the elites aren't going to want that because a majority population of men empowered with purpose without being controlled by pussy would be a big threat. So they need the women there. That means the only way to get consumption down is both less men and women. Women use religion as a tool to get what they want. Why do you think Christianity became socially acceptable and why women embraced it 2000 years ago? Because it was a way to standardize male behavior. For them to potentially find and keep a man that doesn't know or understand his value in the sexual marketplace. Everything you're saying to these women does register with them Mr. Black. You're just not a simp like many of the other Christian guys that they are used to dealing with. Most Christian men are so wrapped up in converting others or focusing on their own sins that they don't focus on those of whamen around them. Even when most see them they do what JC would do which is forgive. Saving yourself for marriage keeps you thirsty and when you finally settle down with a woman and lose your virginity to her it's going to make you feel super guilty even thinking of leaving her. These so called Christian women you speak of want to ride the rooster rollercoaster and then when they are ready to settle down they still want a man that's not emotionally damaged and can easily bond with them even though they will probably never bond him because they've been riden more times than that pony that they bring out for that seven year olds' birthday party. Well Fritz I feel you. Now that you've effectively gone monk mode and are done with women now you want to be done with soyciety. You want to retire and live on passive investment income. The problem is that you're not the only one that wants to check out of modern life and the more of us men drop out of the labor pool the higher the cost of labor has to be to get us back to the 9 to 5 plantation. The more of us checkout the harder it will be for other guys to checkout as well. That's why for me doing the whole traditional investing thing doesn't really pay off unless I'm in high risk and high reward investments. Even then success is not guaranteed. Everyone knows I'm fan of selling pet food and pet products to childless dog mothers in their fifties and profiting off that but the only stock that I like pet.to or petvalue stores is still way too overpriced. So how does a guy retire even if he's already living the minimalist lifestyle and how does he deal with the cost of living accelerating as more and more men continue to checkout out of the rat race? The trend is only going to accelerate like a land whale driving down the street when she sees an ice cream truck. The more men stop working the more difficult it will be for others to do the same. The cost of living will continue to accelerate because labor will cost more as men refuse to work. It's as simple as that. For myself the only escape hatch I can see if Bitcoin does it's thing in the next two to three years. With the network effect continuing to gain steam I think that many millennials and even Zoomers that are now entering the workforce see it as their only hope so they will plow their money into it. What happens when the boomers die off and you have Millennials and Zoomers that value Bitcoin more than gold plow a huge chunk of their retirement money into it? Bitcoin would be considered a deflationary currency if you can even classify it as a currency. My point is that short of Bitcoin or some sort of miracle the average single man in a big city in America with relatively high real estate prices and inflation continuing to destroy his meager savings is not going to be able to retire. Especially as the trend of men checking out of the workforce continues to accelerate. Just the other day I saw a statistic that five years 51% of men in America under a certain age, I can't remember that part are single and not looking for a girlfriend or partner. The same survey was taken this year and now it's up to 61%. With no incentive of sex to produce most men will try and get their life on easy street. As for Man Guide's video he discusses this re-tweet from Rollo Tomassi where Paul - Best Men's Podcast Ever says that Monk Mode is a cope. It's just an excuse you tell yourself so you don't have to talk to women. And Rollo says that someone finally had to say it. First off if you have to call your podcast the best men's podcast then odds are it's not even close. The greatest threat to the pickup roach, their bug spray or raid so to speak is men going their own way and specifically monk mode. I can understand why Rollo thinks it's cope because he's married and a married man has a different mind. I shamed the MGTOW monks before I became one and had thousands of guys back in early 2015 attack me for calling them cowards when they didn't want to day. That's why I haven't gone after Think Before You Sleep the way Undead Chronic has. He's still young and can afford to make some mistakes. He has to make them in order to become wise. It's like that line in the Matrix from Morpheous where he says there's a difference between knowing the path and walking the path. Until you walk the monk mode path after you've been in the dating world and understood how it's changed your behavior you won't know. Rollo is a lifelong lover. His mind has been stewing in it's own love juices for decades now. You have to have experienced both to understand why a man might go monk mode. Being single for years and being in a relationship for years are like living two different lives. You are two completely different people in each situation. Would I get into a relationship again? Am I just coping? Well, I want an intellectual and artistic equal, a counterpart and that's not going to happen. I've spoken to women that are my equals and are living their version of a sigma grindset as single women. They can clearly have a partner but they choose to be single to persue their purpose. They aren't being shamed for going nun mode. It's only men that get shamed. But having a relationship with such a woman is like taking an exotic bird and trapping it in a gilded cage. Why would anyone want to do that to someone they love? Once I realized that I knew that I couldn't just have a meaningless relationship with a meaningless woman. I want an equal but it would feel wrong being with her.
