Scarlett Cochran is our guest! She's an attorney, financial expert, and an entrepreneur with an amazing story!  In fact, it's an incredible example of a true DREAM THING DO story! As a teenager… Scarlett was a Marine who also became a single mom living below the poverty line. As you can imagine… it was a tough season… but she got bold and audacious.  Specifically… she gave herself permission to DREAM and get clear on the kind of life that she REALLY wanted to create for her daughter and her. Then she went to work.  Scarlett found a way to start her college degree by going to night school. She also found a way to buy a home at 20.  And she kept dreaming… thinking and doing… and that led her to eventually leave the Marines and go to school full time.  In fact, she was the first in her family to attend college! But she didn't stop there. Next… she set her sights on law school.  Not only that but she decided to try to get in one of the top 14 law schools in the country.  And guess what?  She got into YALE (one of the prestigious law schools in the world!) and graduated with multiple job offers waiting. She graduated… worked hard… figured out that she wanted to have some quality of life… so she worked as a banking and consumer finance attorney for: the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (where she worked on fair lending and equity issues).  In the past few years though… her story started to get out and people wanted to learn how she created a completely new life. Since then… she's touched the lives of millions by being featured by Good Morning America… Forbes… CNBC and Oprah, as well as her own YouTube channel. Her brand new book called "IT'S NOT ABOUT THE MONEY - A PROVEN PATH TO BUILDING WEALTH AND LIVE THE RICH LIFE YOU DESERVE" was recently released and people are loving it! Mudra was an American football coach and his nickname was "Dr. Victory." He served as the head football coach at: Adams State College (1959–1962),  North Dakota State University (1963–1965) University of Arizona (1967–1968) Western Illinois University (1969–1973) Florida State University (1974–1975) Eastern Illinois University (1978–1982),  and the University of Northern Iowa (1983–1987) His career college football record of 200–81–4.  And since I attended the University of Northern Iowa, I will share a little of his story from UNI. Seeking to turn around another struggling program, Mudra resigned from Eastern Illinois in December 1982 to accept the head coaching position with the University of Northern Iowa.  They had finished their previous season with a 4–6–1 record. BUT under Mudra, the Panthers went on to win the Gateway Football Conference in their 1985 and 1987 seasons. Get THIS!: He led the Panthers to the NCAA Division I-AA semifinals TWICE!   Mudra was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 2000.
