CrossPolitic Show
Pastor Toby, Choc Knox, Waterboy
CrossPolitic (Christ over politics) mixes the taboo formula of faith, culture, and politics to bring the clarity of the gospel into muddle America. We are a community of Christians who desire to see the Lordship of Christ in every corner of our culture, reigning over every politician, and changing every individual for our good and His glory. Our hosts are pastors, deacons, and filmmakers, who long to see our fallen and broken nation recognize Jesus as our redeemer. Our hosts have interviewed notable presidential candidates (such as Senator Ted Cruz and Dr. Ben Carson), written books, preach the Gospel, make films, and utilize every avenue possible to declare the gospel of our Lord to the whole world.

Will Christianity Today Sell to Canon Press?
In this special CrossPolitic episode, Gabe welcomes Canon Press co-owners Aaron Rench and Nate Wilson to discuss their bold $10 million offer to purchase Christianity Today magazine. The conversation explores the strategic thinking behind major ministry moves, contrasting the "cruise ship vs. battleship" mentality that plagues many Christian organizations. Aaron and Nate discuss their vision to restore CT as a place where evangelical Christianity can "have it out", hosting real conversations between believers with different perspectives, rather than the current progressive echo chamber.

Some clarification on comments I made on our show titled: “Will Christianity Today Sell to Canon Press?” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lH6aDjC6R0A
I said on the show yesterday about the 29:30 mark, that Pastor Burk Parsons of St. Andrews Chapel was suspended by the Central Florida Presbytery. This did happen, and Burk is currently appealing the judgment. After talking to a member of St. Andrews Chapel today, it seems the presbytery might need its own house cleaned and that Burk is right in appealing his suspension. That is the other side of the story: Proverbs 18:17. So, while my original comments are true, I wanted to add that Burk is appealing his suspension.
My comments on St. Andrews Pastoral Salaries:
I had read that the pastoral salaries were not released to their congregation and that Burk’s salary was $410k and their two assistant pastors salary was about $300k each. While I have no problem with paying good Pastors good money, the issue that caught my attention was that pastoral salary information was being withheld from the conjuration and some of the elders. This was supposedly reported from the regional presbytery, which I was willing to believe the local presbytery at this point, and come to find out that the presbytery never required St. Andrews to release any of the salary info. So, I was under the impression that the presbytery released the salary info, but the presbytery released nothing what so ever about the salary info. So, my comments on the salary drama were incorrect. So, I retract those comments and as forgiveness from the leadership of St. Andrews Chapel for adding to the rumor mill.

What Kimmel Should Learn from Voddie Baucham
Toby and Gabe remember beloved brother in Christ Voddie Baucham, who passed away at age 56. The conversation transitions into examining the dangerous inconsistencies plaguing American discourse, using Voddie's own words about liberals weaponizing terms like "freedom" while supporting abortion. Through it all, it's clear to see that what Voddie boldly taught in his life again and again will continue to be true, that being the importance of biblical consistency in a world of competing worldviews.
A full tribute show honoring Voddie Baucham will air next week when Knox returns.

America's Altar Call
In this episode of Crosspolitic, the guys reflect on the unprecedented memorial service for Charlie Kirk, which drew over 50,000 attendees in person and over 100 million livestream viewers. They explore how this moment represents the end of "negative world" Christianity and the beginning of a new era of Christian nationalism, where political leaders are openly declaring Christ as King. Its important to emphasize that this isn't a time for compromise but for bold Christian leadership, calling for Christians to seize this generational opportunity to disciple the young men inspired by Charlie Kirk's example and to build a truly Christian culture in America.

How to Raise Warriors in a Woke World (ft. Larry Taunton)
In this episode of CrossPolitic, Gabe welcomes Larry Taunton, author and columnist with bylines in USA Today, The Atlantic, Spectator, CNN and beyond, to discuss the critical battle over education in America. Known for debating leading atheists and Muslims including Christopher Hitchens, Taunton brings his sharp analysis and hard-won perspective on faith, culture, and politics to examine why homeschooling has become essential for Christian families. The conversation explores Taunton's journey from military base public schools to becoming a homeschooling advocate after witnessing the radicalization happening in elite preparatory schools 30 years ago. Taunton emphasizes that youth are looking for meaning and mission - and when parents don't provide it, kids will find it in destructive ideologies. Charlie Kirk vs. The Lie of Neutral Politics
In this episode of CrossPolitic, Gabe and Toby address the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk and deliver a wake-up call to the American church. They argue that the church has catastrophically failed in its duty as shepherds, receiving an "F minus" grade for allowing wolves to infiltrate education systems while pastors refuse to warn their congregations about the dangers of public schools. They critique the humanistic unity message being promoted in response to Kirk's murder, explaining how this false religion, which elevates humanity rather than God as the ultimate standard, actually breeds the very violence it claims to oppose.
The conversation takes a hard turn toward biblical truth, with the hosts drawing from 2 Corinthians 6 to emphasize that there can be no unity between light and darkness, between Christ and those who hate Him. They challenge the "thou shalt be nice" mentality that has captured much of American Christianity, calling instead for believers to recognize the fundamental war between Christianity and humanism that has raged for over 150 years.

An American Turning Point
Charlie Kirk was a faithful Christian father and husband who was gunned down while speaking on a college campus. Joined by Pastor Doug Wilson and Lennox Kalifungwa, Knox and Toby talk through the massive implications of this devastating attack. The discussion explores how this tragic event represents a watershed moment in American history, with Pastor Wilson drawing parallels to the turbulent 1960s while noting that today's division runs much deeper into American institutions and culture. The conversation delves into biblical responses to injustice, discussing the need for swift execution of justice, public accountability, and the restoration of proper fear of consequences for criminal behavior.
This attack wasn't just on one man, but on any Christian who stands for biblical truth, while calling for courage, faith, and faithful witness in the face of persecution.

Why is America in a Sex Recession?
In this episode of Crosspolitic Toby, Knox, and Gabe dive into a recent Institute for Family Studies report documenting America's "sex recession" - revealing that young adults aged 18-29 are having significantly less sex than previous generations, with sexlessness doubling since 2010. While initially seeming positive (less unmarried sex), it only takes exploring the deeper cultural implications to realize otherwise. With declining birth rates now below 1.6, reduced social interaction among young people, and a generation rewired by smartphones and social media since 2010, the discussion reveals how this trend points to broader issues of isolation, lack of real-world relationships, and a culture that has lost sight of biblical sexuality and marriage.
