“What does it mean that God is enough when it seems like I don’t have enough?” Alicia J. Akins struggled with this question during a time of great scarcity. That’s when she was invited to a friend’s dinner and she was confronted with the juxtaposition of her financial lack and the beautiful feast and friendships before her. It began her journey of studying the feasts of the Bible, and she recently published the book, Invitations to Abundance.  We are pleased to present an interview between Alicia and SOLA Network. Michael Lee leads All Nations Community Church, an English-speaking congregation on the same campus as a Korean immigrant church. David D. As part of the Fall 2022 SOLA Leader’s Dialogue, Asian American leaders shared their experiences pastoring in the immigrant church context. Each leader shared stories of how their churches uniquely partnered with the immigrant church for the sake of the Gospel and the glory of God.  Daniel Low, English pastor at Bread of Life Church, shared about the cultural issues of being a part of the Asian immigrant church and yet the benefits of being in that environment. He also shared the principles that have helped his three-language-congregation church to stay united.
