We often hear of the challenges and work involved with the Defence Forces. But alongside the troops on the ground are over 1,600 Reserve Defence Forces. They are training and preparing to support their full-time colleagues in times of crisis.  The military is actively recruiting reserve personnel with an ambition of having around 4,000 members by 2028.
