New car registrations rose 1.9% in April to 8,731 units that’s a modest increase, but it brings the year-to-date total to over 73,500, up 3.4% on last year. Electric vehicles (EVs) saw a 23.7% jump in April, with 1,343 new EVs hitting the road, and a massive 25.5% increase year-to-date.
