What to Do When You're Lonely, Weary, and Looking For Love and Sex (in All the Wrong Places)
On this episode of the podcast, Richard and Brittni encourage people to cast a vision — and to make sure decisions made reflect that vision. This is particularly needed when it comes to loneliness, weariness, and the quest for sex and love. "God doesn't condemn you...the Holy Spirit will convict you," Richard said. "The enemy, when he condemns you, it's not for you to be better ... it's for you to tap out."When one's sex drive seems to be taking over, Brittni said it's important to look back at his or her vision to remember what is true and what God calls them to. She affirmed, "A vision is a very important thing to have.""The enemy tempts you in two ways. When you're lonely...and when you're weary," Richard continued. "Never make a decision when you're weary."Follow Richard and Brittni on Social Media:- Love Always Ministries on Instagram- Brittni De La Mora on Instagram- Richard De La Mora on Instagram.

The Power of Forgiveness and Letting Go of Anger
On this episode of "Let's Talk Purity," Richard and Brittni tackle the power of forgiveness, exploring Jesus' transformational words on the cross, and why we must persevere and forgive others — even those who are unapologetic. After mentioning Christ's stunning act of forgiveness during his crucifixion when he told the Lord of his mockers and murderers, "Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do," Richard explained why grace is so essential. "Without forgiveness, we wouldn't see a resurrection," he said. "A lot of us, we want to see a resurrection, we want to see God revive and restore things in our life, but are we willing to forgive? And I truly believe that forgiveness and resurrection go hand-in-hand."He added the ramifications of not forgiving are potentially sweeping and can hamper us. "If we are going to see God use us in a mighty way, then we have to be able to be quick to forgive," Richard said. "And I think that's so hard for people." Brittni added another important detail: sometimes, people don't realize the full scope of their negative actions. "People are always aware of their actions, but they're not aware of what it's actually doing to themselves or others," she said, pointing back to her own past as a porn star before coming to the Lord. "I didn't realize that I was living a life of sin, that I was leading people into sin."Brittni added, "We've got to be the type of people that can forgive and understand that, if they truly understood what they were doing, they woudn't be doing it."The couple explained the importance of finding peace and letting go of unforgiveness. "When you hold onto unforgiveness you're going to ... harbor pain," Richard said. 'Rebuke Those Thoughts': How to Fulfill God's Call and Ignore External Voices Trying to Stop You
Are you overthinking your calling? That's the question Richard and Brittni tackle on this episode of "Let's Talk Purity." "God wants us to pursue Him and to be obedient to the world that He has given us in the right season," Brittni proclaims. "We need to make sure that when God gives us a word, we do it."Richard said this tends to be an area where "the enemy just tries to snatch that from us," with some people mistakenly waiting for the perfect moment to do or live out what the Lord has called them to."We're thinking of perfection," Richard said, noting it's better to listen to God than obsess over the perfect moment. "I would rather have you sow a seed that could potentially bring in a harvest rather than you just holding on to the seed and waiting for the perfect moment."And Brittni encouraged the faithful not to hide the gifts God has given them."You don't want to be the unfaithful servant," she said, adding that it's also important not to let external voices prevent you from doing what God wants. "If there have been external voices that have tried to stop you from fulfilling the call that God has placed upon your life, you need to rebuke those thoughts and go ahead and fulfill the call anyways. ... You don't need someone else's approval"Listen to this powerful episode of "Let's Talk Purity!"Follow Richard and Brittni on Social Media:- Love Always Ministries on Instagram- Brittni De La Mora on Instagram- Richard De La Mora on Instagra voices

She 'Burned to the Ground' Nearly Everything in Her Life. Now, She's Helping Christians Build a Faith in Jesus That Lasts
Shame. Pain. Uncertainty. Alli Patterson, an author and teaching pastor at Crossroads Church, believes there are too many people today struggling to understand what it truly means to have a deep, healthy, and transformative relationship with Jesus. "I have just seen too many people, when trouble hits...they figure out then, 'Oh, I wasn't really connected to Jesus ... I wasn't really grounded on anything," she told hosts Brittni and Richard De La Mora. "I just have such a burden for that."Alli is out with a new book, "How to Stay Standing: 3 Essential Practices for Building a Faith That Lasts." On this episode of "Let's Talk Purity," she shares her own story of growing up the "classic good kid," meeting Jesus at age 16 — and then making some diabolical decisions in her 20s. Those choices, she said, "burned to the ground almost everything in my life."Suddenly, Alli's marriage and career were in shambles and she was forced to go on a journey, recognizing the way she lived her life — based on the world's standards — was unfulfilling. "I did it the way the world said to do it, and I fell apart anyway," Alli said.Listen to her powerful story and journey.Follow Richard and Brittni on Social Media:- Love Always Ministries on Instagram- Brittni De La Mora on Instagram- Richard De La Mora on Instagram

Stop Hindering God's Miracles and Live Your Life Largely: How to Break Free, Live Out God-Given Mission in 2023
Richard and Brittni are encouraging people to enter 2023 with a new mindset — one that is sure to set them up with success. "We want you to enlarge your vision," Brittni said. "Hebrews 11:6 says without faith it’s impossible to please God. ... We can hinder his miracles because of our lack of faith."So, the two encourage listeners to set big goals, enlarge their vision, and get a clearer sense of themselves heading into 2023."If you don’t see yourself correctly, it’s going to hinder what God wants to do in and through your lives," Richard said. "This year has to be the year that we see ourselves differently."Britti said it's essential to believe you are "exactly who God says you are," and that you're "worthy of the call He's placed upon your life." In the end, she said it's all about having a relationship with the Holy Spirit."You need to start to live your life largely," she said. "You should be going to work and operating with a spirit of excellence. You have a label on you, and that label is 'Christian.'"Follow Richard and Brittni on Social Media:- Love Always Ministries on Instagram- Brittni De La Mora on Instagram- Richard De La Mora on Instagram

'I was a Porn Star. I Was a Drug Addict': Clinging to Hope, Living Out Romans 8:28 Amid Chaos, Difficulty, Bad Decisions
Richard and Brittni speak to those struggling this past year — or those facing tough challenges. Even if things didn't go quite as planned in 2022, they want people to rest in the Lord."Maybe you've been surrounded by just darkness," Brittni said. "Or maybe you've lost some hope because your life doesn't look the way you thought it would look."She added, "The puzzle pieces of your life will come together."In this episode, the couple cite Romans 8:28 and appeal to the fact God works all things together for His good. Brittni reminded people of her own story of exiting the porn industry, finding Jesus, and now spreading the Gospel to a weary world."I was a porn star. I was a drug addict. I worked in the strip club," she said. "I was in prostitution. All kinds of mental illnesses ...[God] now uses me to bring other people victory as well."Listen to this powerful episode of "Let's Talk Purity."Follow Richard and Brittni on Social Media:- Love Always Ministries on Instagram- Brittni De La Mora on Instagram- Richard De La Mora on Instagram
