Going Mental with Eileen Kelly
GOING MENTAL was born out of host Eileen Kelly’s desire to reckon with the shame she felt around her mental health journey. Despite early career success, internal struggles and a crippling personality disorder drove Eileen to leave her exciting New York City life behind and seek treatment at McLean — one of the oldest mental hospitals in the country. After five months and some serious self-discovery, she returned to the outside world looking for a way to disseminate what she'd learned in treatment and connect to others with similar experiences.
Each week, along with personal stories from Eileen, she interviews some of today’s most compelling media figures, artists, authors, and celebrities about their own mental health journeys, along with a range of experts who provide information and support around various mental conditions.

The Man Who Fought Chevron: Steven Donziger on Climate Change, House Arrest, and Keeping His Sanity
Steven Donziger is an American attorney known for his legal battles with Chevron. In his most famous case, Aguinda v. Texaco, Inc, he represented over 30,000 farmers and indigenous people in Ecuador, who suffered environmental damage and health issues caused by oil drilling. The Ecuadorian court ordered Chevron to pay over $9 billion in damages, which led Chevron to withdraw its assets from Ecuador and launch legal action against Donziger in the US. In the end, he was disbarred, sentenced to prison time, and spent 993 days under house arrest. Eileen and Donziger discuss what led him to Ecuador in the first place, climate change and mental health, how to fight big corporations, and what to do when you feel the whole world is conspiring against you.
