39: The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius: Book 4 - Passage 2

The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius offer a remarkable series of spiritual reflections and exercises developed as the emperor struggled to understand himself and make sense of the universe. While the Meditations were composed to provide personal consolation and encouragement, Marcus Aurelius also created one of the greatest of all works of philosophy: a timeless collection that has been consulted and admired by statesmen, thinkers and readers throughout the centuries.  Whilst many of his reflections and ways to live life were based on the teachings of earlier philosophers from the Socratics to the early Stoics, Marcus Aurelius strove to live his life by the principles of his philosophy and in his Meditations articulated those views in a way that remains one of the greatest books of wisdom to have graced the Earth. 38: The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius: Book 3 - Passage 16

The final passage of book 3! I could not believe what I read when I opened the book to read this passage! If you have seen the Republic for Modern Life videos and thus know the details of events in my own life you will have a great context for the amazing ability the universe is showing myself right now to align things.  Those videos are on the same youtube channel as the link below, which is to a more recent video which I uploaded the day prior to recording this podcast, a video discussing why the Chief Crime Commissioner and Deputy Mayor of West Yorkshire, is using the Police Force as part of the agenda outlined in the Republic for Modern Life.  Of course the content of that video, if in the right hands will lead to justice for myself and many others resulting in her imprisonment.  It therefore is not a coincidence that she has used the police force once more in an attempt to stop me doing what is right. The same evening, after the video was uploaded, at 11:15pm, the police rang by buzzer and I manage to avoid letting them in as you will hear in this episode.  But it is because of this content that they will now stop at nothing to make sure I am silenced and their lies and corruption stay hidden in Yorkshire and thus attempting to save themselves and their police chief, Alison Lowe, from imprisonment.  It really is incredible for the timing to be such that this passage is read the following day at this time! Here is the referenced video which was uploaded the day prior to this episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBTs1xirZaY&t=291s The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius offer a remarkable series of spiritual reflections and exercises developed as the emperor struggled to understand himself and make sense of the universe. 37: The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius: Book 3 - Passage 15

A passage that leads to why the thief or one who causes harm without receiving justice will suffer in the long run.  What we have always known as karma, is not just a random thing, we now have science that can explain how that lack of justice for a unjust act will manifest and harm the perpetrator who does not receive justice and Marcus knew this to be so over 1500 years ago! Thoughts that bother you! Your reactions to things that are said which invoke negative emotions are only so because of our own beliefs, perceptions and previous wounds.  What can the thoughts though and emotions we feel relating to things others say of or to us tell us about ourselves?  Also learn why things that provoke those emotions will continue to be brought into your life until you understand what your reaction to them is really trying to tell you!
