Stronghold SOF Solutions (SOF S3) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) based out of Destin, FL. Their training facility is in Defuniak Springs, FL, 10 minutes South of I-10, 20 minutes East of 7th SFG/Duke Field. They share a property line with General Dynamics and enjoy a great working relationship with their neighbors.
SOF S3 was founded by a former US Army Green Beret as a platform for continued service to our country. Their work is performed in the Florida Panhandle, just minutes away from 7th Special Forces Group, Eglin AFB, and Hurlburt Field. They are primarily a US provider of tactical training solutions for the warfighter and law enforcement officer. SOF S3 leverages the capabilities, training, and experience of SOF veterans from every branch of the military in combination with a modernized 50-acre facility built to reflect the current and future operational environment.

Zac is an American football coach and former linebacker. He was originally signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2005, and went on to have stints with the Baltimore Ravens, Frankfurt Galaxy and the Houston Texans. Zac attended Prattville High School in Birmingham, Alabama before he went on to play college football at UAB.

#053 - Byron Beplay
Today on Shoot Me Straight, we sit down with Byron Beplay.
US Army Veteran of 13 years, 3rd Ranger Battalion, 75th Regiment. Byron began his dog training career after he separated from the Army and began working with his service dog. He became a passionate advocate for the Rescue 22 Foundation and Veteran suicide awareness.
He ventured into protection sports and developing protection dogs working under leading trainers in the U.S. and attending many schools and seminars in the disciplines of decoying, protection, detection, military and law enforcement K9 development. Byron enjoys working his own personal dog in scent detection and volunteers his time to help with local law enforcement K9
departments.
Byron began his business as a partnership location with Coastline K9 out of Naples FL. Here he developed and trained many behavioral problems and family protection
dogs before opening the business BTS K9.
Byron is passionate about bringing awareness to the
veteran community and creating a safer community through dog training for our clients and their families.

Today, David sits down with Dr. Jeanne Allert.
Jeanne has an eclectic career history: from high school English teacher, to instructional designer, to technology director, to Internet consultant. For fourteen years she managed a successful consulting practice serving trade and professional societies in their use of Internet technologies. She is an international public speaker, technical trainer, industry author, and has served as adjunct faculty for several universities. Jeanne holds a Ph.D. in Counseling and Psychological Studies, 2021.
Jeanne is a compelling speaker on the topic of domestic human trafficking and has delivered awareness presentations in several states. She is a member of the Department of Homeland Security Blue Campaign, Graduate of the FBI Citizen’s Academy, and a Human Trafficking Contributor for the National Advisory Council for the Conference on Crimes Against Women.
