Ep 398: Abundant Ever After with Cathy Heller

Start Your Transformation Now  In this powerful conversation, Jim sits down with Cathy Heller—author, speaker, spiritual teacher, and host of the “Abundant Ever After” podcast—to explore how abundance isn’t something we chase; it’s something we receive. Cathy opens up about her journey from emotional hardship and scarcity to spiritual clarity and profound wealth, and how Jewish mysticism, Kabbalah, and deep soul work have helped shape her reality. Together, they share wisdom on tuning into divine energy, healing past wounds, and becoming a vessel for true abundance.  Cathy shares deeply personal stories, including how a spontaneous trip to Jerusalem led her to a rabbi who helped rewire her understanding of purpose and abundance. They discuss the shame we carry around money, why spiritual fulfillment is the true foundation of prosperity, and how being unapologetically authentic can create a ripple effect of healing. If you’ve ever felt “too much” or struggled with your worthiness to receive, this episode offers a transformational perspective.  This conversation is both soulful and practical, reminding us that we’re here not to “fit in,” but to stand out. You’ll walk away feeling empowered to plug into your own divine outlet and reframe how you think about money, self-worth, and your soul’s assignment.  What You’ll Discover in This Episode:  (02:16) Why Cathy Held Back Her Truth at First Cathy explains why she was initially hesitant to talk openly about her beliefs and how leaning into her spiritual roots transformed her voice and work.  (10:00) Her Mystical Experience in Jerusalem That Changed Everything A spontaneous class in the Old City led to years of mentorship and soul expansion—and it completely reshaped Cathy’s life and purpose.  (21:41) Why Abundance Isn’t About Money—It’s About Frequency Cathy shares the real reason she wrote Abundant Ever After and how to “tune” your inner receiver to align with divine abundance.  (34:06) Depression vs. Purpose—A Life-Changing Truth A deeply moving reflection on Cathy’s mother’s depression and what it taught her about how purpose—not happiness—is the antidote to despair.  (48:43) The “Breaker Panel” Metaphor for Receiving More in Life Learn why your nervous system might be short-circuiting your desires—and how to rewire your capacity to receive.  (55:28) What You Can Give, Even When You’re Broke Cathy illustrates that abundance isn’t measured in money—it’s measured in presence, energy, and intention.  Listen, apply, and enjoy!  Transformational Takeaway  Your ability to receive is directly linked to your belief in your own worthiness. As Cathy reminds us, abundance isn’t something “out there”—it’s something you tune into by remembering that your soul is infinite, generous, and already enough. Whether it’s a smile, a compliment, or a moment of true presence, you always have something of value to give—and the more you give, the more you open yourself up to receive. True wealth starts with recognizing the light within and letting it shine.  Mentioned Resources: 📖 Abundant Ever After (Book by Cathy Heller) Connect with her: 🌐 Website 📸 Instagram Let’s Connect:  Instagram | Facebook | YouTube | LinkedIn  LIKED THE EPISODE?  If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 397: Throwback to Ep41: Are You Being 100% Responsible For Your Life?

Start Your Transformation Now  You’ve heard it since you were a kid, “Be responsible,” however, have you ever sat with that concept and fully explored its meaning in your own life?Responsibility is a master key in life and what you create is what you’re 100% responsible for creating or not. One of my clients once said, “Wow, when I live from being 100% responsible for my life I feel like I can do anything.” He embodied the characteristic and he 10 X his business growth in 3 years. And, what he did, you can do! In this episode I talk about: [5:55] Where you’ll be next year is 100% contingent on what you’re being responsible for[12:22] To what degree are you responsible for your own personal evolution[14:04] Why blame is victim mentality[16:09] The relationship between success and responsibility[19:05] What victim mentality looks likeAnd, what 100% responsibility looks like. Harry Truman said it best, “The buck stops here,” and when you embody that characteristic and way of BEing, your life will change dramatically. Ep 396: Why You Feel So Lost, Complacent or Depressed

Start Your Transformation Now In this episode of the Jim Fortin Podcast, Jim explores why so many people feel lost, apathetic, or stuck in a fog of complacency and burnout—especially when they’ve been on a path of personal development. He opens up about his own experiences with burnout and depression, then introduces a powerful reframing: these feelings are not failures, but soulful signals calling us to evolve. Jim shares the transformational idea that depression is not just a chemical imbalance or lack of motivation—it’s often the soul refusing to participate in a life it no longer aligns with. He dives into the difference between 3D ego identity and soul identity, the painful but necessary collapse of old egoic patterns, and how ancient wisdom, alignment, and awareness can illuminate the path to joy, meaning, and inner power. If you’re feeling uninspired, burned out, or unsure of your purpose, this episode isn’t just for you—it’s a spiritual wake-up call. Let Jim guide you out of the low-altitude loop of ego and into the elevated space where your soul can finally breathe, lead, and thrive. What You’ll Discover in This Episode: The Real Reason You Feel Burned Out and Apathetic (01:15)Jim reflects on his own experience of hitting an emotional wall and explains why feelings of stagnation are often soul-level invitations to grow. The Illusion of Identity (03:45)Explore how your 3D ego identity masks your true self—and why it’s vital to begin seeing yourself as soul, not just a physical or professional persona. What a Shamanic Death Can Teach Us (12:00)Jim explains the concept of a “shamanic death”—the painful shedding of outdated ego patterns—and how this process mirrors deep personal transformation. Why Depression Isn’t What You Think It Is (17:45)A powerful insight: “Depression is the soul refusing to participate in a life it no longer resonates with.” This shift can change how you view emotional pain. The Collapse of the Ego Mask (21:30)Understand how your old motivations and egoic identities may no longer serve you—and why letting them go can open the door to soulful living. Let the Soul Drive the Bus (26:30)Learn how to recognize what lights you up and let your soul—not your fears or social programming—lead the way in life and work. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway Modern culture rewards the hustle, but it has no patience for the collapse of the old self. The burnout, the boredom, the apathy—they’re not failures. They’re soulful cues, inviting you to stop grinding and start aligning. Don’t let your ego mask keep you stuck in a story that no longer fits. Let your soul breathe. Let it lead. And remember: what lights you up is your soul speaking. Follow it, do it well, and abundance will follow. Let’s Connect: Instagram | Facebook | YouTube | LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 395: Throwback to Ep61: Take Ownership Of Your Life

Start Your Transformation Now  If you don’t have what you want in life and you’re not where you want to be it’s because you’re not taking ownership of your life. What is “ownership”? It’s the act, state, or right of possessing something.YOU OWN YOUR LIFE! You own the power to heal, the power to create, the power to manifest, the power to attract, the power to reflectively think and the power to create anything you want and most of us touch none of that power. [7:09] The difference between life ownership and responsibility[10:41] The power of ownership and co-creating[13:49] How you own your life and what you create[21:39] The power of commanding your mindAnd as you already know, a lot more. It’s such a huge thought for most people to get their minds around, but in truth you are the “soul owner” of your body and your life. As such, you have 100% dominion over your mind and body. Ep 394: Kicking the Fear That Stands Between You And What You Really Want In Life

Start Your Transformation Now  In this episode of the Transform Your Life from the Inside Out podcast, Jim Fortin unpacks the single greatest force holding you back from the life you desire: fear. With powerful personal anecdotes, real coaching insights, and spiritual wisdom, Jim reveals how fear—often disguised as anger, frustration, stress, or inadequacy—secretly drives our choices, limits our growth, and blocks us from abundance and joy.  Jim explains that all negative emotions stem from one source: fear. Whether you're angry in traffic, anxious about money, or afraid of being judged, you're unconsciously making fear-based decisions—and paying the price. Through clear examples and practical tools, Jim teaches how to identify the fear behind your emotions, name it, disassociate from it, and ultimately transcend it.  If you're ready to stop letting fear dictate your life and finally claim the possibilities waiting on the other side, this episode is your guide to taking back your power.  What You’ll Discover in This Episode:  The Hidden Face of Fear (01:15) Jim explains how fear shows up disguised as anger, stress, and frustration—and how recognizing this is the first step to freedom.  The Only Two Emotions That Exist (05:05) Discover why all emotions boil down to either love or fear, and how this awareness can shift your entire decision-making process.  How Inauthenticity Keeps You Stuck (13:30) Learn how avoiding your fear and pretending it isn’t there creates even more suffering—and how to break free by being honest with yourself.  What Fear Has Cost You (26:00) A powerful reflection to uncover how fear has limited your relationships, career, happiness, and personal growth.  How to Transcend Fear, Step by Step (34:40) Jim shares his 4-part strategy to identify, name, disassociate from, and dismantle fear—so it no longer runs your life.  The Bridge Between Fear and Everything You Want (45:20) Hear the powerful metaphor that ties it all together: why walking through fear is the only way to reach the life you’re meant to live.  Listen, apply, and enjoy!  Transformational Takeaway  Everything you want exists on the other side of fear. When you recognize fear for what it truly is—just a thought, just a story—you reclaim your power. Authenticity isn’t weakness; it’s courage in motion. The moment you name your fear, confront it, and refuse to let it define you, you become free. Free to create, free to live, free to be. This episode is your invitation to cross the bridge from fear to freedom—because the life you want is already waiting.  Let’s Connect:  Instagram | Facebook | YouTube | LinkedIn  LIKED THE EPISODE?  If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 393: Throwback to Ep43: Nothing Works In Your Life Without This

Start Your Transformation Now  Ever wondered why you’re not getting the results you want in the gym, in your business and perhaps all the areas of your life? There could be many reasons but a huge reason is talked about in this episode, self-integrity. Are you being 100% integral with your word to yourself relative to your desired outcomes? Do you eat the way you say you’ll eat? Do you go to the gym when you say you will go? Do you lead generate for your business like you say you will? Do you do what you say you’ll do when you say you’ll do it? If you just said no to the above questions you’re going to love this episode because it’s all about self-integrity! It’s all about doing what you say you’re going to do when you say you’re going to do it. In this episode I discuss:[2:46] How you can have a 100-500% increase in your productivity when you keep your word to yourself.[7:08] How I used to lie to myself about integrity (and you probably do too).[22:44] How we speak our lives into existence.[23:12] Why not keeping your word affects your self-esteem.And, of course, much much more.Self-Integrity is VITAL to your success in any activity and according to a Harvard business professor who studies it, it’s one of the most over-looked concepts in business and life. When we’re out of self-integrity, nothing works, we keep failing over and over in many areas of life that we think are important to us.Let me rephrase the last paragraph, things work in life but they rarely work the way we want when we’re out of integrity. Listen, apply, and enjoy!  Transformational Takeaway  Be 100% impeccable with your word to yourself. Ep 392: You Can't Have More In Life Until You Give This Up

Start Your Transformation Now  In this episode, Jim Fortin reveals the one thing you must release if you truly want more from life: your emotional baggage. From guilt and fear to shame and self-judgment, Jim breaks down why clinging to these old emotions keeps you stuck at “first base” in life—safe but stagnant. Through powerful metaphors, real coaching stories, and deep subconscious insights, Jim explains how to finally let go so you can receive what your soul is really asking for.  Jim dives into the neuroscience and energetics behind why we resist letting go—even when it costs us everything we want. You’ll learn how we become emotionally enslaved by past events, why our brains trick us into choosing safety over growth, and how unresolved fears block the flow of abundance, joy, and personal power. If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing the inner work but still stuck, this episode will help you understand why—and what to do next.  If you’re ready to stop circling the same fears and finally step into more, this episode will show you how to drop the weight and open the door to transformation.  What You’ll Discover in This Episode:  Why You Can’t Keep One Foot on First Base (01:12) Jim introduces a powerful metaphor that illustrates why holding on to the past blocks new opportunities.  Nathan’s Story: The Cost of Holding On (05:15) A coaching example that shows how unresolved shame and guilt can sabotage progress—no matter how much we say we want change.  The Furniture Metaphor: No Room for the New (11:40) Jim explains how holding on to emotional baggage leaves no space for new experiences or abundance.  How Your Fears Keep Circling Like Coyotes (24:45) A vivid story to help you see how fear continues to show up until you confront and conquer it.  Are You a Slave to Emotion? (22:30) Jim challenges listeners to consider whether their lives are being run by fear, shame, or the need for external validation.  Your Soul Is Waiting—Let It Out (20:30) A reminder that soulful living requires courage, not comfort—and that everything you want lies beyond fear.  Listen, apply, and enjoy!  Transformational Takeaway  You can’t have more in life until you let go of what’s weighing you down. Transformation isn’t about gaining—it’s about releasing. Fear, shame, guilt, and self-judgment don’t define you—they delay you. Let go to let in. You were never meant to carry the past forever. The life you want is already waiting… if you have the courage to put down what’s holding you back and reach for it.  Let’s Connect:  Instagram | Facebook | YouTube | LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?  If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 390: Escaping the Figure Life Out Paradox

Start Your Transformation Now  Are you stuck trying to “figure life out” before taking your next step? In this episode, Jim Fortin unpacks the illusion behind this common mindset and reveals why overthinking keeps so many people trapped in a cycle of confusion, frustration, and inaction. Through real-life stories and his own experience, Jim explains why waiting for clarity often leads nowhere—and how taking inspired action is the true path to freedom and fulfillment.  Jim explores the psychological trap of needing all the answers before moving forward, a mindset that holds countless people in place. He introduces a powerful shift: clarity doesn’t come before action—it comes because of it. Whether you’re trying to make a big life move or simply feel stuck, this episode offers the key to break free from the paradox and reclaim your momentum.  If you’ve spent far too long trying to think your way to clarity, this episode is the wake-up call to stop overthinking and start living.  What You’ll Discover in This Episode:  Why Trying to “Figure It Out” Doesn’t Work (01:05) Jim explains why most people stay stuck not because they can’t move, but because they believe they need all the answers before doing so.  John’s Story: The Paralysis of Overthinking (03:00) A powerful example of how overthinking—and the need for certainty—can keep someone stagnant for years.  The Real Solution: Action Creates Clarity (06:45) Jim shares the philosophy “something leads to something” and shows how taking any action can unlock new opportunities and awareness.  How to Make Calculated, Inspired Risks (10:30) Jim contrasts reckless risk with intuitive, aligned decision-making—and how to know the difference.  When Analytical Thinking Becomes the Enemy (17:50) A discussion on why too much thinking actually blocks intuition, inspiration, and growth.  The Heart-Led Way to Move Forward (23:40) Jim introduces a more effective approach to decision-making—one guided by joy, peace, and your inner knowing.  Listen, apply, and enjoy!  Transformational Takeaway  You don’t need to “figure it all out” to start moving forward. In fact, the longer you wait for perfect clarity, the further you drift from the life you want. Clarity is born from action—not thought. Trust that taking one small, inspired step will reveal the next. Life always supports movement. And remember: everything always has been, is now, and always will be fine.  Let’s Connect:  Instagram | Facebook | YouTube | LinkedIn  LIKED THE EPISODE?  If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 389: Throwback to Ep81: You Cannot Outperform Yourself

Start Your Transformation Now  How often have you set goals or wanted something badly only to find that you fail over and over in achieving it? If you can say yes to the line above, you’re not alone, this is the pattern for most people and the cause is simple, people are setting goals for things that are not in their self-image. People are trying to perform at levels that are outside their self-image and subconscious identity. Many years ago I remember hearing the motivational speaker Les Brown said, “You cannot operate outside of the context of the vision you have for yourself.” Which basically means, you cannot be, do or have what you are not. In this episode I talk about:[1:24] What your self-image is and how it was created[2:21] The cycle of self-identity reinforcement[5:57] The illusion of self-image[15:53] Why you’ll never live up to your full potential[27:22] How to reverse engineer your life from the inside out[31:01] And, How nothing in your life will change until you change There’s an old Tibetan saying, “What you are on the inside is what you are on the outside.” If you want more in your life you must BE more in life. There is absolutely no escape from this concept. You must first be it in your mind before you can have it in your life. Listen, apply, and enjoy!  Transformational Takeaway  You cannot outperform yourself!
