Dr Joe Romm, a climate expert and author, discusses dodgy offsets, double accounting, and the problems with carbon neutrality claims. He highlights the lack of regulation in the offset market and the ineffectiveness of many offsets. The podcast also explores greenwashing, the true cost of removing carbon, and the issue of false claims in the voluntary market.
