Accelerate Everything – Davis Webb, Quarterbacks Coach, Denver Broncos

Davis Webb is the quarterbacks coach for the Denver Broncos, stepping away from playing immediately when given the opportunity to work with Sean Payton. He played college football at Texas Tech and California, being coached by Kliff Kingsbury and Jake Spavital. In 2017, he was drafted by the New York Giants in the third round of the NFL Draft. The Quarterback Mathematical Equation – Robert Weiner, Co-OC/QB Coach, University of Toledo

In this week’s clinic segment from Lauren’s First and Goal, Toledo Co-OC/QB Coach Robert Weiner shares insight into quarterback play as it relates to movement in the pocket. In the world of thousands of cool-looking drills on video and social media, Coach Weiner boils it down to essential movements to be taught, encompassing everything that a quarterback has to do in the pocket.While the drills are simple, the movement patterns take time to develop. Coach Weiner explains the two umbrellas of QB movement – slides and spacing – as well as the four movements he has identified through study. Accelerate Everything – Rick Jones, Special Assistant to the Head Coach, Mizzou

In his 31 seasons as a high school head coach, Rick Jones accumulated a record of 317-74. He is an 18-time Coach of the Year honoree. He was named the 2012 National Federation of High Schools National Football Coach of the Year, the 2018 AFCA Power of Influence National Coach of the Year, and was inducted into the Oklahoma High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2013, as well as the Harding University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016.In February 2020, Coach Jones joined the Mizzou staff as special assistant to the head coach.
