My guest, Terri Ward, wrote a book called The Healing Diverticulitis Cookbook which lays out a plan that includes a 3-day clear liquids phase, then a 2-week low fiber recovery phase, and then a high fiber maintenance phase. 173: The Electron Diet

Each day our body attempts to maintain a negative charge by gaining electrons and excreting excess protons. We do this through secretions like sweat, urine, poop and tears - which are all positively charged. Turns out, a huge foundation of health hinges on our body having a “net negative charge” - being more negative than positive - which happens when we have more electrons than protons. We typically associate negative with bad, but in the case of our body - negative is good! Too many protons and not enough electrons is an equation for inflammation. Inflammation has a net positive charge. Health has a net negative charge.In this week’s podcast episode, we’re talking about The Electron Diet and how to get more electrons into your body. God has given us three primary ways: through sunshine, through grounding, and through food.
