We’ve all seen the horrifying images of death and destruction that have emerged out of Israel and Palestine. Hamas’ launching of 5,000 rockets into Southern Israel on October 7th sparked a flashpoint in a region with a long and complex history. A Day in the Life of Abed Salama: Anatomy of a Jerusalem Tragedy recounts the road accident that took the life of Abed’s five-year-old son, Milad, and five other Palestinian children.
