 It was a bad built day in congress as Marjorie Taylor Greene clashes with Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez and Jasmine Crockett. MTG stirred the pot by asking if any of the Democrats in the committee were employing Judge Merchan's daughter, the same judge currently in charge of Trump's sham trial in NYC. MTG hurled the first insult which descended into chaos until Lauren Boebert had to apologize to the American people. The GOP Trump-tourage grew to nearly 20 deep last week with the likes of Matt Gaetz, Anna Paulina Luna, Vivek Ramaswamy and Lauren Boebert showing support outside the NYC courthouse. The NRA held its convention over the weekend and got support from president Trump as he made a speech vowing to protect gun rights. CNN will host a debate stringent with a set of rules between Trump and Biden in June, the question is how does RFK Jr. fit into the equation. Today, we get a first-hand account from inside the courtroom in the Trump trial. Senator Tommy Tuberville flew to New York to show support for President Trump. This is the "Superbowl" for the DA's office, which only prosecutes 3% of the city's criminals. The jury seems tired after 16 days of being on a case that should have been decided "not guilty" on day one. Convicted liar Michael Cohen got out of jail to testify under oath in the kangaroo court led by Juan Merchan. Judge Merchan's sham of a trial has made him feeble, and he hardly makes eye contact with President Trump. The tension from the witness stand is diffused by an obstructed line of sight and Trump watches most testimonies on a monitor in front of him. Even after going in person, it's still unclear what the charges are against Trump. Sen. Tuberville showed his support for the president by helping to speak on his behalf out on Lafayette park and hopes this "sham" is wrapped up soon.Andrew Giuliani has managed to give live updates of the court proceedings via his X feed. Finding his way into the main courtroom or the overflow room throughout the week, Andrew says the jury is rather stoic and not giving too many indicators as to how the information presented is affecting them. What appears to be clear to everyone is how unsavory a character Michael Cohen is. Biden delivered his message to accept Trump's challenge to debate "anytime, anywhere." It was an incredible weekend for president Trump as nearly 100,00 people came out to see him in Wildwood, the south Jersey beach city. The place was packed in a town that has a population of around 5,127 according to the 2020 census and better yet, no one left a mess. Small but telling distinction compared to the destruction purple-haired weirdos and terrorist-supporting protesters on the Left leave in their wake. Trump absolutely hammered Biden on EVERYTHING because quite frankly "everything he (Biden) touches turns to s**t." When Trump got around to the economy he started with groceries, items like bacon have gone up 79%, gasoline up 50% and mortgage rates at 2% under Trump are now at 8%. hammering home how not one single thing is cheaper under Biden. It a burden every American feels along with the various other disasters and also why according to a recent poll, if they election was held today Trump would win 312 to 226. Nikki Haley came into the Vp convo for less than 24 hours as Trump sent out a signed Truth post but Doug Burgham seemed to go up a few rungs on the VP ladder after he shared a ride in Trump Force One. Jewish students were afraid to go to class at George Washington University and University President Ellen Granberg called D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser for 14 days asking for help, to which she declined. It was only under the threat of being embarrassed and subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee did May Bowser send in D.C. police to break up the encampments. Rep. Comer called off the subpoena but a bigger conversation about crime in D.C. and other progressive major cities is still afront. Cities are unsafe because progressives are not tough on crime. Rep. Well, MTG submitted a "motion to vacate' Speaker Johnson after all. The motion was shut-down immediately in the House for a number of reasons, including timing and the thinly-held majority. Will Speaker Johnson keep his position into 2025 is yet to be determined. Kristi Noem has made a tough decision to cancel the rest of her book tour appearance due to bad weather. Sadly, her career went from on-high to nearly non-existent with unconfirmed meetings with Kim Jong Un and poorly constructed leadership decisions that involve shooting puppies. HR 7109 went completely unnoticed and was voted unanimously in favor by Democrats. On the heels of Chuck Schumer saying "Democrats will make it clear which party cares about our border," the bill would give illegals representation in Congress and the electoral college. Without keeping their poker face, the invasion by design scheme seems to be leaving its legislative mark. Democrats continue to say and do things with no consequences, the latest being Kathy Hochul remarks about "black kids in the Bronx that don't how what a computer is."
