President Trump signed the bill to reopen the government. Democrats got nothing they wanted out of the deal, no money for illegal aliens and no extensions on ACA subsidies. The nationwide redistricting war is in full effect as President Trump is determined to keep a Republican majority in 2026. It looks like the government shutdown is coming to an end as eight Democrats cave in and join the Republicans. It is now day 38 of the longest government shutdown in history. As President Trump hosted the Prime Minister of Hungary, Karoline Leavitt interrupted the press conference.
