Recorded: May 17th 2023 | In this week's episode, Taylor is finally back. We pick up right where we left off on Tuesday’s episode by getting into Harry Potter vs. Star Wars again. Taylor adds a different perspective and picks his side in the argument. We then get into the news surrounding Pat McAfee and his new deal with ESPN. The boys talk about whether Pat won the deal with the new platform or if ESPN won the deal by adding such a massive name to their program. Some of the fans are worried that the show will go corporate and change despite everything Pat said about that not happening. Overall we are stoked for the boys over there. Another one of the boys, Jelly Roll, was on Joe Rogan podcast. He has been taking the world by storm as he should. Hopefully he gave the boys a little shout out on the pod as well. The boys talk about Joe Burrow possibly taking a team friendly deal in his new contract. Taylor teaches us what it means to have your 5th year option picked up and the different ways Burrow’s contract can be friendly. Moral of the story is, Joe is going to make a lot of money no matter what he does with his contract, it’s just whether or not he wants to keep some of his other weapons with the team. Recorded: May 15th 2023 | On today’s episode, Will is riding solo as Taylor is handling some personal things. Right off the bat, Will learns that Dylan Railoa committed to Georgia and not Will/his fathers alma mater, Nebraska. As you can assume, Will was gutted after hearing this news. Following that news, Will gets into the latest in the Iowa student athletes getting in trouble for gambling and has some choice words about that situation. He then dives into the Ja Morant saga. Will talks about how the veterans on his team need to step in and have a heart to heart with Ja in order for this to not happen again. In a feel good story, the boy Foster Moreau signed his deal with the Saints. Moreau is fighting cancer so Will reacts to how awesome that is for Foster and tells a story of a scare that he had himself. To end the pod, the boys answer some fan questions like, is cereal soup, what fictional movie character would the boys want to be and Harry Potter vs Star Wars. Recorded: May 10th 2023 | On this weeks episode, the boys are back, Thursdays are for the boys. Will starts off the pod saying that he is playing injured, his injury was pink eye, so his word count is lower throughout this episode. Following the injury report, the boys go around and give a positive thing that is going on in each of their lives cause we are a feel good pod. Recorded: April 15th 2023 | On our final episode of our Arizona State spring tour and final episode of our spring tour entirely, we sit down with Taylor's high school coach and now Assistant Head Coach at ASU, Charlie Ragle. We take a deep dive into Taylor's past in high school. Ragle talks about the first time saw Taylor as an opponent, and how he eventually recruited Taylor to Chaparral. Again we get into Taylor high school transcript and how blatantly bad it was. Ragle talks about how college coaches were afraid at first because of how bad it was but then once they saw Taylor play, they eventually came around to see if they could make it work. Ragle tells this hilarious story of how he got Taylor to sign over to Chaparral as well as how Taylor was the original "Blind Side" by blocking kids onto the track.
