Gary Vee On Vulnerability, Success & Leadership + Derrick Henry's Free Agency
Recorded: February 8th 2024 | In this weeks episode, Taylor rips a solo intro as Will is in Chicago for the Barstool Combine. In the intro Taylor hits on the boy Shane Gillis hosting SNL, Machine Gun Kelly's newest song and his thoughts on where Derrick Henry will end up. Following the intro, we were able to sit down with the one and only, Gary Vaynerchuk aka Gary Vee. The guys dive into the start of Gary Vee and how he got to where he is now. He gets into how obsessed he is with the chase rather than the final product, talking in the sense of how he wants to buy the Jets. Tom Segura & Bert Kreischer Experience Black Jack With Taylor Lewan + Big Game Reaction
Recorded: February 8th 2024 | In this weeks episode, Will hits the intro solo dolo and recaps the Super Bowl from this weekend. He recaps the biggest moments from the game like Travis Kelce bumping Andy Reid, Mecole Hardman's game winning touchdown, Mahomes doing Mahomes things, plus other key plays from the game. Will also raises the question, is the reason Mahomes is so good because of Andy Reid? Let us know your thoughts. Following the intro we have our first interview from our time in Vegas. This weeks guests are our two favorite bears, from the 2 Bears 1 Cave podcast, Bert Kreischer and Tom Segura. The boys start off the pod with the energy high as Bert and Tom brought Will and Taylor a little treat. It takes them a while to get to the treat because they go on to talk about the blackjack tournament that Bert and Tom put on. The guys recap the whole tournament and get into how much fun it is to be on the table with the fellas. Everyone ended up winning as well which helped the vibes even more. The guys then get into some real conversations as Taylor brings up how good Bert looks. Bert talks about how when he was at Beer Olympics, he felt and looked terrible. His feet were swollen, his fingers were swollen, he couldn't get his ring off his finger, he just didn't like the way he felt. Bert decided to make a change and went sober for 3-4 months and lost 40-50 lbs in doing so, he looks great now. Then Tom brings up how it is okay to be happy in the profession that you're and it's okay to show it off. Tom defends Bert because of how much hate Bert gets for taking pics on a private plane or in front of the massive crowd he just performed for. It's how Bert lives his life and if that bothers you, that's okay as well. The boys and bears get into some real conversations while at the same time having some great laughs. This is an overall feel good pod that we know you'll enjoy. Big Cat On The "Beef" Between Chicago And New York + The Start Of Pardon My Take
Recorded: February 5th 2024 | In this week's episode we sit down with the one and only Dan "Big Cat" Katz. The boys are out in Vegas for the Big Game and decide to chop it up with Big Cat for an episode. The guys start off the show talking about the Big Game and who they are rooting for. Big Cat gets into how there is one NFL that just somehow owns him and ruins his bets whenever he bets against this guy. Then Will turns into Billy Basketball as he has become a fan of Nebraska Basketball even though he has no idea how the basketball landscape works. Will and Taylor then turn the focus to more of the nitty gritty about the inner workings of Barstool. Big Cat tells the story of how he started at Barstool and how he originally found Barstool Sports in the first place. The guys then get into how Pardon My Take started and how it was actually terrible when it first started. It is interesting to hear how a top 3 sports podcast in the world has gone through so many different types of growing pains. The guys finish up by talking about the move to Chicago and the rivalry that is going on between them and New York. Big Cat talks about how he doesn't necessarily like the stigma of their being a rivalry because he doesn't see it that way. The difference is in the type of content that is being put out by both offices. This episode is a great look behind the curtains of Big Cat as a person and his rise to stardom in the Barstool Sports/Sports Media world. Enjoy Fellas. Is Patrick Mahomes Now The Goat? + Stu Feiner's Insane Gambling Life
Recorded: January 24th 2024 | In this week's episode we are joined by the man, the myth, the legend, Stu Feiner. He blessed us with his presence on Slips & Picks and following that, he hopped on the bus to chat with the boys. This whole pod really feels like story time Uncle Stu. The guys immediately get into it and start all the way from the beginning. Stu gives his life story from where he grew up, the struggles he had as a kid by getting bullied in school and the tough home life he had with his family. He gets into some crazy stories from his childhood and it seemed like he had some wild story from each grade growing up. It is a shorter intro as the boys recap the NFL Divisional round from this past weekend. They spend the majority of the time talking about the Chiefs-Bills game as Will thinks the game was rigged in favor of the Chiefs. They also preview the Conference Championship games where it'll be the Lions vs. 49ers and the Chiefs vs. Ravens. The boys make a case for each time as to how they can make it to the Super Bowl. Some massive news has come out of the UFC as Conor McGregor will be finally returning to the Octagon and his opponent will be, the boy Michael Chandler. He gets into the whirlwind of the last couple months for him dealing with Conor, the UFC and trying to nail down a date for this fight to happen. The guys get into the entire USADA drug testing process and why that was such a problem before along with what weight class they believe the fight will be at. Chandler wants it to be at 185 because he says it gives him is an advantage since he is more naturally at that weight. You can't help but feel a little juiced up after hearing what he has to say. They boys also get into some of the things that Chandler does outside of fighting. Mike hasn't fought in over a year but that doesn't mean he hasn't stayed busy. He just became a partner in Hiatus Tequila and he gets into the process behind the tequila business. He has some choice words about some other fighters alcohol that is out there, hint: it's an Irish whiskey. Chandler gets into how his entire life does not surround fighting, he isn't one of those guys who relies on a paycheck from the UFC as he is involved in more than just fighting. The boys finish the pod off answering another one of Mitch's terrible twisted questions and then get into the movie talk. We all know these three guys get along very well so it just feels like they are hanging out chopping it up. The Playoffs ROLL ON and two of our analysts delivered incredible results. Last week, The Mule (Delanie Walker) and Chet Savage (Taylor Lewan) finished with a phenomenal record of 10 wins and only two losses. And to celebrate their success, each analyst enjoyed a refreshing Twisted Tea. Meanwhile, William Gekko (Will Compton) finished with a respectable 7-4 record in Super Wild Card Weekend. Here is where we sit after 19 weeks of football: Chet: 136-125-1 (51.9%) Gekko: 135-107-1 (55.6%) Mule: 149-105 (58.7%) This Week’s card puts the number one seeds back in play: Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens host rookie sensation C.J.
