Nikole Hannah-Jones is the creator of the amazing 1619 project which explains how America is still impacted by the legacy of slavery. We are, today, in a slaveocracy. Nikole is a verified genius, the recipient of a MacArthur grant, and I can feel her genius when I speak to her. She is a toweringly influential intellectual.
