Pastor Candace shared about how endurance is a quality of character that does not allow one to surrender. In Hebrews 12 it reads "let us run with endurance the race that is set before us". In endurance sports there is a phenomenon called "Second Wind", it's where the athlete hit's a wall and they are very tired and/or out of breath and suddenly they find strength to continue to perform at a top level. He spent his life working to deceive others so he could survive the reality he was in. He started out his life wrestling his twin brother and 97 years later he is found wrestling with God.
