Relational Life Therapy with Kyle Miller, L.C.P.C.
On episode 20 of the Chicago Psychology Podcast Dr. Hoye interviews Kyle Miller about Relational Life Therapy. Relational Life Therapy (RLT) is a couple's therapy developed by marriage and family therapist Terry Real. Kyle and I discuss the principles and how it relates to the development of better, more connected communication between couples experiencing difficulties in their relationships. Kyle also talks about why he has chosen this modality of working with couples over other available treatments, and he paints a picture of how this therapy unfolds in sessions. We also touch base on men’s difficulties expressing emotions and how this can play out and be helped in psychotherapy.
