在全世界男权国家的咒骂里，有两种咒骂类型。一种是诅咒脏东西，比如德语之中的“屎！”和中文之中的“臭狗屎！”，另一种是威胁辱女，比如威胁强奸女性，尤其是对方的母亲，是最常见和普遍的类型，也是男性在日常生活中的口语。除了咒骂之外，现代汉语中很多负面的词汇和文字，都与女性相关，比如“嫉妒”、“奸诈“，等等。 男权文字中无处不在的厌女和对女性的暴力威胁，是数千年男权社会积累强化的肮脏遗产，其目的在于巩固男性特权地位，时刻驯化女性，使其对自己的性别自卑自厌，服从于男性居上的性别权力框架。 各国女性在历史上一直努力修改厌女的语言，自进入现代之后，开始有了一些能积累的成果。如中国晚清时期的革命女性，在文章写作中使用“英雌“来形容了不起的女性。而在社交媒体的普及过程里，也有越来越多的年轻女性，开始有意识在公共传播中改造厌女的通用语言。本期海马星球的嘉宾鸟惠，就是其中一位。她的博士课题结合了语言学和计算机的交叉知识，研究厌女语言对人们的影响，并由此在创造一个女性友好的输入法，去掉负面意义的字的女字旁，甚至尝试给积极词汇加女字旁。 在这个创造的过程里，她得到了女导师的大力支持，但也遭遇了很多来自各个方面的压力和威胁，经历了所有变革者经历的挑战，哪怕这个变革看起来不过是很微小的进步。但正是这样的点滴努力，汇聚在一起，构成了更好的明天。 本期提到的文章和书籍： 《A Glimpse of the Change of Female Social Status from Words with radical Nǚ in the Origin of Chinese Characters》by 赵爱武 《说文解字——女部文化阐述研究综述》 《女字旁》浙江人民出版社 by 王洋洋

今天，受到良好教育的女性越来越多地意识到，生孩子的必要条件是给孩子提供安全良好的生活。 然而，即便是受过很好教育的女性，大多数都还不太意识到另一个必要条件，那就是女性需要充分知悉生育对女性可能造成的损伤，充分保护自己。 即便在貌似资讯发达的今日，生育损伤仍是一个深深被羞耻和禁忌挟裹的话题。它仿佛是极少数情况（但并不是），或者是不值一提的，甚至似乎女性遭遇生育损伤是因为她自己做错了什么。 然而，如果我们稍微做一些调研，就会发现，每一个生育的女性身上，都会存在生育损伤，女性的每一次生育，都会给她增加一些损伤。从线粒体、骨骼到大脑，女性的身体在怀孕和生育过程里，要遭遇无数挑战，越过无数她自己都不知道的险关。 而在父权社会不平等的性别秩序里，不仅女性被认为有生育的义务，而且婚姻往往意味着更年长的男性和年轻的女性结合。大多数女性需要用自己的子宫和整个身体，来承担衰老的精子带来的风险，而一旦生下来的孩子不够健康，母亲却是第一个被责怪的人。 这一期海马星球与大魔王一起，讨论了女性可能遭遇的生育损伤、这些损伤的起源、女性可以如何全面自主地看待自己的生育权、改写父权式生育的历史篇章。
