In this episode of The Herbalist Hour, I am joined by herbalist Athena Wolf. Athena studied western herbalism for 40 years; lived in an ashram practicing Kundalini yoga and Ayurveda for 26 years; and has degrees in Communications and Training Technologies. She works with Spirit and Nature to help others heal themselves and our world. I had the pleasure of chatting with herbalist and author Maria Noël Groves in this episode of The Herbalist Hour.  We talked about how she got into herbalism and one of the early plants she had a relationship with, wintergreen. The conversation turned into a nice discussion about one of her early mentors, Michael Moore.  We also talked about the many different ways you can be an herbalist and how to go about getting an herbal education.  I've known Maria for several years now, but it was really nice to have the opportunity to hang out with her for an hour and learn more about her as a person, and all of the fabulous projects she's got goin' on. For Episode 4 of The Herbalist Hour, Mason and Amanda went to visit their friend Yaakov Levine at the Natural Grocers in Eugene, OR.  Mason has known Yaakov for many years now. They'd frequently see each other at various herb conferences and natural foods events. Yaakov is a nutrition health coach and expert, and was gracious enough to sit down with Mason to answer YOUR questions.  We polled the HerbRally audience to see if you had any nutrition questions and you all came through! There were about 125 questions that came in.  Of course, Yaakov couldn't answer every single one in this interview, but he did manage to get to about a dozen of 'em.
