The Joe Rogan Experience Experience

After lasts week episode we sat down and discussed how we felt about the episode. Then, Kamar and Floyd spent a bit of time explaining modern rap to Simon and never have I wished we were recording more. So this week we decided to hit the record button and see what we got. WARNING: there is little to no JRE content here. To be honest, we mostly discuss rap and show just how old and outdated we really are... This was recorded after a brief smoke break following episode 12.

With Joe back in the mix and fresh from his vacation, the guys had no shortage of content this week. Thank god! This week the guys sit down and discuss "these goddamn kids" and what exactly is going on in the universities. They touch on whether or not there is a heaven or hell and what they might be like and how they'd rather die. A really lighthearted episode!?!? You'd think with Joe taking a week for vacation we'd also take a week off. You'd be sorely mistaken. We're white men! Any chance to sit down and have our opinions heard... This week the guys let Simon choose an old episode because his notes for the Year End Review were so damn good! That and we had to talk about something. I'll be honest, this one is a bit longer than normal. We apologize. We chose four of the years best episodes and revisited them. The episodes were; Elon Musk, Owen Benjamin & Kurt Metzger, Matthew Walker, and Steven Pinker. A bit of everything! The guys discuss AI, the future, living in a simulation, angry comedians, Nanette (kinda), sleep, lack of sleep, self-improvement and whether or not things really are getting better. Floyd and Simon have it out over absolutely fuck all. It's very festive. The dog had to get his two cents in ...again. This time, there wasn't much I could do in the way of editing. I'd apologize but we do this in a basement with little to no knowledge of what the fuck is going on. Sprinkle age on there and well, issa process. Or whatever. Happy New Year! For a holiday episode, this got very heated. Both figuratively and literally. Kamar was under the weather but it didn't stop him from voicing his opinion. The guys discuss everything from consciousness to tampons in the men's room. They pretty much discuss everything except Bill Burr. The "studio" had a bunch of comings and goings this week so I had to edit a few sections for barking dogs and passers-by, pardon the terrible editing. Our producer sucks!!!
