Ethereum (ETH) creator Vitalik Buterin has an idea for what the state of Bitcoin (BTC) will look like twenty years from now. In a new interview with economist Noah Smith, Buterin says that in the medium term, he thinks crypto assets including Bitcoin and Ethereum will become about as volatile as gold or the stock market, moving away from the big bubble and crash phases of the past. Shark Tank investor Kevin O’Leary is casting doubt on the ability of Bitcoin to rally above the $25,000 price level under the prevailing conditions. O’Leary says in a Stansberry Research interview that the BTC price is stagnating because the lack of cryptocurrency regulation is hindering institutional investment in the space.
