The Bible: Reading with the Author by Your Side

The Bible is the only book where the author is sitting next to us as we read. We have access to the author, and we can ask him questions. The Holy Spirit can provide insights and fill in the blanks for us while reading. He can share historical context and information that we may not know otherwise. The Holy Spirit wants to make our reading experience less frustrating and bring life to the word. Many people may not enjoy reading the Bible because they are unaware that the author is right there with them.
