The Tree of Life And It's Leaves

Every time the speaker reads the same chapter in scripture, something new jumps out at him. In two different parts of scripture, the tree of life is mentioned, and it's always struck the speaker as odd that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. This connects with what Adam and Eve are doing by sewing together fig leaves to make coverings for themselves. They are not healed because they are now sick with sin. However, there is a promise from God that the tree of life, which is Christ himself, will be the leaves that provide healing for the nations. Thus, Christ comes to provide us with this covering and healing that can only be received from him.
