There can be new phenomena or objects that the machine doesn't know to look for because they are totally bizarre and unlike anything previously known. These new phenomena or objects may have different properties and cannot be categorized or searched for based on existing knowledge or patterns. Therefore, the machine may not detect such phenomena or objects because it has no reference or understanding of them. Even if anomalies are present in the data, the machine would not identify them as significant because it lacks the context or awareness to recognize their significance. To identify these singular phenomena or objects, humans need to actively search for and investigate them. Otherwise, they may go unnoticed and unexplained by the machine's algorithms and processes.
