Many psychological problems can be better dealt with by not giving them the power of our attention. We can choose to view them as irrelevant and non-issues, effectively shrinking them into insignificance. By focusing our attention on what is meaningful to us, we can become happier or significantly less unhappy. Fear and shame often stem from perceived judgment by society, but owning our deficiencies publicly can help us overcome these negative emotions. Instead of disputing or altering the meaning behind negative judgments, we can confront them directly and watch them lose their power. By looking at our internal dialogues and arguments in the face, we can stop the thought process and find peace.
Shame only exists in darkness. Today, Alex (@AlexHormozi) talks about how this mental framework he practices helps him overcome various obstacles, struggles, and inner fears in order to be the best version of himself!
