The last dysfunction is the inattention to results. This means that the people on the team are not thinking about what they are collectively trying to accomplish, but rather focusing on their own areas. Many teams only focus on holding individuals accountable for not obtaining desired results, without identifying the underlying dysfunctions such as lack of trust, honest conversation, and buy-in to decisions made.
