Good Preaching Points Out Bad Thinking

Reading the Bible challenges one's way of thinking and can expose errors. Many people either do not read the Bible or read it to confirm their own beliefs, leading to the formation of their own gospel message. Throwing out parts of the Bible because they are disliked or misunderstood contributes to this. Preaching that exposes bad thinking and encourages a critical examination of one's beliefs is beneficial.
