The Importance of Talent in Growing a Business
Entrepreneurs face a single, overarching problem in growing their businesses: talent. This problem includes finding good people, hiring and recruiting them, managing them, and growing and cultivating their talent. Once a business reaches 10 to 30 million a year, operations take a backseat to talent. The biggest bottleneck in crossing the 30 to 100 million mark is understanding that it's all about the talent and not about the entrepreneur themselves. It can be difficult for entrepreneurs to let go of the need to be needed, but the business doesn't require them.
