Choosing to satisfice rather than optimize can lead to greater satisfaction with our decisions. Maximizers, who try to find the best possible choice, often feel worse about their decisions, while satisficers may not make the absolute best choice but feel better about their decisions. It's important to decide what aspects of life are worth optimizing and what can be good enough. This mindset of satisficing can shape our lives and lead to making unconventional decisions.
