The future of personal agents lies in the development of intellectually humble chatbots with the ability to execute tasks and navigate open source models. Despite their fluidity, the most significant foundation model and potentially the most important personal agent in the world is Chat GPT. This sentiment is shared by Bill Gates, who believes that the successor to search will be a personally intelligent agent. Competitors like Inflection and Character are also targeting this space, but in a comparison test, Chat GPT emerged as the clear winner in providing assistance with making a French omelette.
