Aim For Nonlinear Growth & Clean Up Processes at Each New Level

The key to growth is not constant growth, but rather growing and then pausing to clean up and crystallize the processes at each new level. Without this pause, the business becomes vulnerable and can fall apart. It's important to understand the levers that got you to a certain level before moving on to the next. Incremental improvements won't work when trying to double your growth. It requires new thinking and potentially a new profit center. The journey may not always be linear, but it will work in the end.
