How to Build An MVP with Michael Seibel | Startup School

Why an MVP is important for desperate customers and why surveys alone may not be enough
Desperate customers are willing to use imperfect solutions to solve their problem, making them the ideal target audience. Building an MVP allows you to provide a non-perfect solution to satisfy their urgent needs. Surveys alone cannot provide the answers on how to solve customer problems, as customers are experts in identifying their problem but not in finding the solution. Only by putting a product, preferably a minimal viable product (MVP), in front of the customer can you start a conversation about whether it solves their problem. Building an MVP is a necessary step and there is no shortcut to quickly developing a solution.
