What Does It Mean To Be Secure In A Relationship?
Being secure in a relationship means having a sense of comfort and attachment, like a child resting on a parent's lap. It is about feeling safe and consoling oneself. It also involves experiencing freedom and the ability to go out into the world, to play and explore, without worrying about leaving someone behind who is anxious or angry. Being secure means having the assurance that the other person will be there when you come back.
