DOP 9: What Is The Maturity Level Of Your Continuous Deployment?
DevOps Paradox
Challenging policies and legal requirements in organizational decision-making
The problem in organizations is that there are two types of people: those who are hesitant to experiment and those who want to try new things. However, these individuals are often hindered by company culture and existing policies. On the other hand, there are people who prefer to continue with the same old methods they have been using for years. These individuals tend to resist change and block those who want to implement new ideas. Consequently, those who desire change often find it easier to leave the company and find opportunities elsewhere. This leads to a situation where only people who are content with the status quo remain, turning the organization into a stagnant entity. Similar challenges can be observed in countries like Serbia, where educated individuals emigrate, leaving behind a population that lacks the means to leave. In both cases, whether in organizations or countries, those who are unable to find better opportunities play a significant role in preventing any meaningful change from occurring.
