The Work That Keeps Working for You

To optimize for time and make a big impact, one must spend their days on activities that align with their goals. For leverage, focus on the work that continues to have an impact even after it's done. For example, podcast interviews have a lasting effect as they can be listened to over time, whereas radio interviews disappear once they're done. By consistently doing work that keeps working for the long run, past efforts accumulate and create a powerful force. An example is when a journalist from the New York Times linked to an article about productivity that the speaker wrote, which caught the attention of a CBS producer. This led to an invitation to appear on CBS this morning and an opportunity to promote the speaker's book.
