NOTE

What impedes us, empowers us

Our actions may be impeded, but there can be no impeding our intentions or dispositions because we can accommodate and adapt. The mind adapts and converts the obstacle to our acting into a way to advance action. Setbacks or problems are always expected and never permanent, making certain that what impedes us can empower us. To face seemingly insurmountable obstacles, we must be objective, control emotions, see the good in a situation, steady our nerves, ignore what disturbs others, place things in perspective, focus on what can be controlled, and deploy self-discipline and logic.
