What kind of decison making culture do you have: Permission, constraint or consent?

There are two options for decision making culture: permission culture and constraint culture. In a permission culture, individuals have to ask for permission before taking any action. This culture tends to eliminate judgment and can lead to people only doing what they are told. On the other hand, a constraint culture allows individuals to do anything unless specifically constrained. Constraints are used to clarify boundaries and focus energy. In a constraint-based culture, there is room for innovation and problem-solving. There is a need to create constraints in order to establish clarity and avoid confusion or debate. Consent-based decision making, where everyone agrees that an idea is safe enough to try, is advocated as a starting point. Autocracy and consensus decision making have their pros and cons, but consent allows for experimentation and avoids average ideas.
