After 24 hours of contemplation, Elon decided to go all in and offered the programmer $10,000 for the domain. However, the programmer informed Elon that he had already sold the domain to someone else, Elon Musk. Undeterred, Elon asked for the new owner's contact information and reached out to him, offering a 20% gain if he sold the domain back. The response from Elon Musk was a simple 'no', ending any possibility of acquiring X.com.
