*Steve Jobs explain Management by Values *
In business, the quality of people varies greatly. The key is to find great people who are passionate about what they do. Steve Jobs learned this lesson and emphasized the importance of recruiting great individuals and promoting young talent into management positions. According to Steve, the only good reason to be a manager is to prevent someone else from ruining the group. He advocates for management by values, which means finding people who share the same goals and aspirations. Once everyone agrees on the destination, the journey can be figured out collaboratively. Steve also emphasizes the significance of recruiting the right people, as giving a good idea to a mediocre team can lead to failure, while giving a mediocre idea to a brilliant team can result in innovation and improvement.
