The Power of Possibility
The notion of possibility is integral to human action and the study of physics. Regret and worry are dependent on the belief that something else could have happened or that there is a range of possibilities for the future. However, worrying is often unnecessary, as in any given moment, either you can take action to solve a problem or you cannot. Probability is a concept frequently used by physicists, but it primarily describes patterns of observed actuality. The belief in possibility provides a model and hope for understanding the world.
