These skills, termed as career capital, are investments that allow individuals to enhance their working life, giving them more control over various aspects such as where they live, how much they work, and the impact of their work. The acquisition of rare skills does not necessarily require busyness, and in fact, busyness can hinder the development of such skills. Remarkable lives are not dependent on busyness, but rather on the cultivation of rare and valuable skills.
