Why Spiking Adrenaline after Learning Improves Memory?

To improve memory, it is important to spike adrenaline after acquiring new information. This can be done by getting the brain and body into a high autonomic arousal state, such as using a double espresso or taking an ice bath immediately after studying. Spiking adrenaline after learning is effective because adrenaline helps in forming strong memories. In fact, if beta blockers are given to people after learning emotional information, they do not learn it as well. Additionally, telling oneself that something is important helps in better learning. On the other hand, social media addiction can be managed by recognizing repetitive behavior that is not interesting anymore, as this is a sign of addiction.
