Our current society is out of balance, and technology may enable us to overcome this imbalance. We are currently experiencing technological growing pains, with each generation growing up in a different technological landscape. The hope is that technology will lead to an enlightenment 2.0, where we have access to information and global conversations like never before. However, technology also has the potential for negative consequences, such as genetic engineering and dystopian outcomes. Despite the risks, there are people with power and influence who seem to have benevolent intentions, which could course correct the future. Our current society is breaking down, but it is necessary for building something new. The designers of new technologies have a unique perspective on what it means to be human, which can influence the creations. Ultimately, relationships and human interaction play a vital role in our overall well-being.
