Getting Stronger in the Legs

Hack squats and sissy squats are effective exercises for strengthening the legs. These exercises are particularly important because they translate into various movements in sports and activities. Contrary to popular belief, it is not necessary to avoid bringing the knee past the toe during squats. Leg exercises have numerous benefits, including cognitive improvements and systemic anabolic effects on the body. Resting for longer periods between sets, especially for hamstring and quad work, is important for optimal results. Training the legs on Monday is advantageous because it kickstarts the week and allows for maximum recovery time. The neural circuits involved in leg exercises differ from those required for movements like running or walking. The entire leg workout, including warm-up and training, only takes about 65 minutes.
